Future Projects, Needs and Programes

Long Term Care Facilities:
There is increasing demand for long term care facilities for elderly patients. These Units within the campus having facilities for separate dining, recreation, attendants, will increase the utilization of the services of the Centre thereby also increasing the income.

Dr. E. Stanley Jones Ward:
This will be a special wing for the Extended Care Program. This Unit is a set of six spacious rooms opening on to a verandah and a front lawn. The Building need extensive renovation and furnishing for making it functional for this service. We are seeking funds for this Unit. This wing will accommodate Male patients.

Old Female Ward:
This Unit is also planned on the same design and with facilities similar as Dr. E. Stanley Jones Ward. This Unit will accommodate Female patients.

Nur Manzil Psychiatric Centre was established in 1950 by Dr. E. Stanley Jones, a renowned American Missionary, evangelist, statesman, author and a friend of India. The Founder firmly believed in the psychological and spiritual healing and well being of mentally afflicted.

Prayers for all is the priority at the Centre to begin the Day. It is most encouraging to see patients & attendants of different faith coming together to worship.
