Management
The Centre functions as a Unit of the Methodist Church in India under the Lucknow Regional Conference. It is a voluntary organization registered under the Societies Registration Act. The management of the Centre is overseen by a Board of Governors, Chairman being the Methodist Bishop of Lucknow. Director is the administrative Head, Chief functionary and Executive Secretary for the Centre. In the past, doctors from different countries like, Sweden, Switzerland, U.S.A., U.K. and Australia served at the Centre as Directors with great dedication and commitment that has helped this institution to come to the present position.

The Centre is a voluntary charitable institution and tries to generate own resources through fees for the services. The aim is to provide services at an affordable cost. Charity and concession is allowed to all patients who are not able to afford cost of treatment due to their social and economic status. Budget expenditure is subsidized by the Methodist Church In India. From time to time General Board of Global Ministries, U.S.A. and its units had been generously giving donations for the essential equipment and other needs of the Centre.
Nur Manzil Psychiatric Centre was established in 1950 by Dr. E. Stanley Jones, a renowned American Missionary, evangelist, statesman, author and a friend of India. The Founder firmly believed in the psychological and spiritual healing and well being of mentally afflicted.

Prayer
Prayers for all is the priority at the Centre to begin the Day. It is most encouraging to see patients & attendants of different faith coming together to worship.
